The WWRA Board Members have many years of experience within the wildlife rehabilitation and conservation profession.
Cindy is one of the more experienced rehabilitators who comes with more than 30 years of experience and specializes in handling rehabilitation efforts focused towards hummingbirds, eagles, and seabirds. She operates the Discovery Bay Wild Bird Rescue center that focuses on rehabilitation and provides training and education to participating volunteers and practitioners.
John has worked within the wildlife rehabilitation profession right from the time he graduated as a veterinarian in 1985. A practicing veterinarian since 1991, he is the lead veterinarian at the PAWS wildlife center and has recently promoted to Veterinary Program manager within Wildlife and Companion Animal Services Departments.
Jenny has worked as a rehabilitator right from 1994 and worked with the PAWS Wildlife center from 1994 to 2008. During her stint with PAWS, she started as a rehabilitator and later worked as a Wildlife Rehabilitation Manager. Her previous experience includes providing rehabilitation support to various wildlife species and has been one of the active participants who has responded to oil spills across the US and Canada from 2008 onwards. Her focus has been on oiled wildlife care, oiled wildlife response planning and establishing wild animal care standards.
