Mike started his wildlife rehabilitation journey in 1989 and has close to three decades of experience within this area. Though specializing in raptors, he is equipped to handle rehabilitation activities across various wildlife species. During his tenure, he has worked in Vermont, Missouri, and Washington and is currently the Executive Director and founder of the outreach non-profit educational organization called Western Wildlife Encounters.
Stephanie joined wildlife rehabilitation efforts as a volunteer in 2003 and later went on to explore it as a career choice. She holds BS and MS degrees in Environmental Science and works as the Founder, Director, and rehabilitator at Raindancer Wild Bird Rescue. This center and Stephanie specializes in rehabilitating birds of prey, bats and corvids.
Emily is equipped with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Environmental Studies Certification from Indiana University. She has worked with various wildlife rehabilitation centers across US and Canada in the 23 years she has served and comes with vast experience when it comes to rehabilitating wild animals belonging to the large mammal or pelagic bird species. At present, Emily is the Wildlife Rehabilitation Manager at the PAWS Wildlife Center.
